Eugene Foley is the Founder & President of Foley Entertainment, Inc., a music industry consulting firm and licensed Entertainment Agency. Foley Entertainment represents recording artists, songwriters, managers, labels, executives, producers, engineers, mixers, session musicians, publishers, studios and other industry participants. The firm provides a variety of professional services, including career guidance & direction, artist development, project quarterbacking, team building, marketing, promotion, publicity, media buying and shopping campaigns.

Foley is a licensed Agent, and is recognized as an accomplished expert in music industry consulting, intellectual property and artist development. He is one of the industry's most sought-after, respected and trusted advisors. Clients have come from all 50 states and nearly 20 foreign countries since Foley Entertainment launched in 1989.

Armed with a Juris Doctor law degree (with an emphasis on Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property) and gifted with a golden ear, Foley has successfully blended his academic accomplishments with outstanding creative skills. Realizing the importance of remaining on the cutting edge of one's profession, Foley continued to expand his knowledge by taking numerous graduate-level continuing education courses at two prestigious Ivy League institutions, Harvard University and Cornell University. His advanced studies at those schools concentrated on executive leadership, executive decision making, strategic thinking, marketing and Internet marketing, among others. Later, his interest and fascination with politics, government and scholarly research inspired Eugene to pursue and earn a Ph.D. in Political Science. It was a personal goal, unrelated to business, that he nonetheless worked hard to achieve in his spare time. Foley continued his training at Harvard Law School, focusing on advanced negotiation theories and conflict resolution techniques.

Foley is the author of two acclaimed educational books, including his most recent tome, Artist Development – A Distinctive Guide To The Music Industry's Lost Art. Later this year, "The Gene Foley Show" will debut in the Northeast, with Foley serving as host and executive producer of a music-related television talk show.

Foley is licensed with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, Office of Consumer Protection/Regulated Business Section. He is an active/voting member of N.A.R.A.S. (The GRAMMY® Awards) and a member of the Better Business Bureau. Foley is also an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He is involved in activities, fund drives and public awareness campaigns for The National Neurofibromatosis Foundation and The Special Olympics. In his spare time, Foley enjoys tennis and playing his collection of Paul Reed Smith guitars. He is also a sports car enthusiast and avid wine collector. Foley lives in New Jersey with his wife and their two children.
